In a first for Mater Private Hospital Brisbane, Qscan Radiology Clinic’s Interventional Neuroradiologist Dr Hal Rice has performed the first endovascular treatment of a ruptured cerebral aneurysm in the Siemens biplane angiography suite in the Mater Private CardioVascular Unit.

Mater Private Hospital’s Preadmission Clinic opened on 28 April, staffed by a team of registered nurses and clerical personnel who have access to clinical support staff including a stomal therapist, urology specialist nurse, breast care nurse, discharge coordinator, pathology and physiotherapists.
