Australian hospitals undergo regular accreditation with the Asutralian Council of HealthCare Standards (ACHS) to measure compliance with a wide range of criteria which contribute to patient care and clinical governance. An ACHS Periodic Review was conducted at Mater Adult, Womens' and Children's Health Services in August 2007.
