Mater Children's Private Hospital to increase bed space

Monday, 4 August 2008

Addressing the need for increased bed space for non-insured patients, the additions will help ease pressure issues in the coming months and aid in the provision of continued high quality care for children of all ages.

The five extra beds will see the hospital offer 66 private inpatient beds, including the current six-bed high observation area for acute care patients. Mater Children's Private Hospital also includes 15 day surgery beds.
