Dedicated IT Support for VMOs

Services offered include:
- consultation on the design and setup of networks which includes servers, printers, PCs, switches, routers and firewalls
- consultation on data and telephone cables
- installation of servers, printers, PCs, switches, routers and firewalls
- diagnosis of hardware faults and facilitation of repairs
- liaison with suppliers over warranty issues
- internet connection maintenance
- configuration of Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections to allow remote connections back to the office from remote locations
- installation and support of Microsoft Office
- assistance with the upgrading of applications
- liaison with vendors about software installations and product support
- additional support for clinical systems if required access to dedicated
- Mater IT support officer via direct line and internal pager.
This service is offered from Monday to Friday, 8am until 5pm, at a call-out rate of $80 per hour and is charged in 15 minute intervals. There is no join up cost or on-going fees.
