Plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr Lily Chen has recently commenced private practice at 201 Wickham Terrace, Brisbane and has public appointments at Mater Adult Hospital.
Dr Chen is a fully-qualified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Her key areas of interest are hand surgery, breast surgery, trauma reconstructive surgery and oncological reconstructive surgery.
Dr Chen graduated from the Medical Faculty of University of Western Australia and commenced the earlier postgraduate years of her surgical training in Perth, Western Australia. She also spent a 12-month clinical attachment abroad at the world-renowned Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Unit of Chang-Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, studying microsurgery, burns and trauma reconstructive surgery. The final two years of her training were completed in Brisbane.
