A dietitian-run antenatal workshop, designed to assist women in achieving the healthiest pregnancy possible, is now available at Mater Mothers’ Hospital.
The workshop provides patients with the latest information about pregnancy nutrition, weight management and exercise, along with general support to help women reach their full potential during their pregnancy and beyond.
The workshop is available to women who will be having their baby at Mater Mothers’ Hospital and is facilitated by a Mater Mothers’ Hospital dietitian.
The optimum time for women to attend the workshop is early in their pregnancy (before 20 weeks), but there are benefi ts to be gained from the information provided at any time during pregnancy.
The workshop is run in a series of morning, afternoon and evening classes. There is no cost to patients for attending the workshop, but bookings are essential.
