You can now subscribe to Mater Online using our RSS feed and be notified when news articles are added to this website. If you're not sure what RSS is or how it works, please read on.
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a web feed format used to publish regularly updated material such as the news articles at Mater Online. To subscribe to an RSS feed you require a feed reader or aggregator. Aggregators can be stand-alone programs or web-based systems that require no software installation.
To subscribe to Mater Online RSS feed, right-click on the orange feed icon located on Mater Online's home page or any news article page and save the link location. To do this, choose "Copy Shortcut" if you are using Internet Explorer or "Copy Link Location" if you are using Mozilla Firefox. Then paste the link location into your favourite aggregator. Alternatively, if you are using Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 2, you can click on the orange feed icon and subscribe to the feed using your browser.
We have implemented a similar system for the GP Education events listed at Mater Online. With RSS you can be informed of any new articles or events as they are posted to the site.
