The first six months of our centenary year have been truly exceptional. It was especially rewarding when Mater was named a Queensland Great for the significant role we have played in the history and development of health care services in Queensland over the past 100 years. This is the first time a Queensland institution has been acknowledged in this way and we are honoured to receive such recognition.
