Mater Pathology fleet goes green

Mater Pathology has partnered with Greenfleet, a not-for-profit company who specialise in offsetting carbon emissions for business. Emissions are offset by planting forests of mixed species native trees, which in addition to offsetting carbon emissions help to tackle salinity, improve water quality and provide a habitat for native wildlife.

Mater Pathology's fleet outputs an average 127 tonnes of carbon emissions per year. To offset these emissions Greenfleet will plant 474 native trees in areas of environmental concern.

Since 1997, Greenfleet has planted over three million trees on behalf of Australian motorists and businesses. These trees will form permanent forests and create an investment in rural Australia for future generations. Greenfleet also plants native forests to offset the emissions generated by air travel, household and business energy use.
