The Marketing Department at Mater Health Services was awarded both the Queensland and National Award for Marketing Excellence from the Australian Marketing Institute in October.
The Department's Healthy Partnerships program was commended for integrating innovative products and services at both a clinical and business level.
The winning program was established in 2004 to further develop Mater's profile in the community as a not-for-profit hospital that operates in a highly competitive environment.
Mater was the only “in-house” marketing team to win a national award. The Australian Marketing Institute award is one of the highest accolades in marketing in Australia.
