Gynaecology services at Mater

Mater Health Services provides comprehensive gynaecology services for non-insured patients to the community through a committed team of specialised clinical staff.

In addition to providing general gynaecology clinics and colposcopy, Mater’s non-insured gynaecology service is supported by a fertility education service and the subspecialty areas of urogynaecology, advanced endoscopic surgery and gynaecological oncology.

The service provides 16 gynaecology operating sessions and 12 gynaecology outpatient sessions per week. Mater has appointed a gynaecology case manager, Lyn Rebecchi, to coordinate the service. Mater has significantly reduced waiting times for the service. There are currently has no waiting list to be seen in clinic, a very limited operative waiting list and is available for all non-insured gynaecology referrals.
