Mater now provides a more timely service for the treatment of skin lesions through a Skin Lesion Clinic at Mater Adult Hospital.
Mater has recruited a general practitioner with extensive skin lesion experience to provide a referral point for patients and significantly reduce waiting times for treatment for non-insured patients.
Services provided through the Skin Lesion Clinic will be bulk billed with no out-of-pocket expenses for the patient. The clinic will also arrange expeditious referral for a specialist opinion as required.
