Highlighted by the high incidence of cardiovascular disease in Australia and a need for more catheter-based cardiovascular procedures, Mater Private Hospital Brisbane opened its second interventional catheter lab in April 2008 making it the first private hospital in Queensland to possess a biplane flat panel detector imaging suite in Queensland.
Mater Private Hospital Brisbane’s Emergency Care Centre is staffed by highly skilled emergency medical and nursing staff. On arrival, every patient is triaged by an experienced registered nurse to ensure they are treated in the order of their clinical urgency.
