Resident weatherman, Grant Denyar from Channel Seven's Sunrise program recently surprised patients and staff by visiting Mater Children's Hospital.
Grant, who has a personal connection with Mater Children's Hospital, said he had visited the hospital once before and decided that while he was on the Queensland leg of his tour for Sunrise, he would come back for another visit.
Grant and his crew spent most of the day wandering through the wards, visiting patients and signing autographs.
Everyone was extremely grateful that he took the time out of his busy schedule to visit the hospital and his presence really lifted the spirits of our patients. His visit was aired the following morning on the Sunrise program throughout the nation during one Grant's weather segments.
