Biography

Dr Naven Chetty is a consultant gynaecological oncologist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Dr Chetty completed his internship and residency in Canberra and Newcastle before going on to do his obstetrics and gynaecology training at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney. This was followed by a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery and urogynaecology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. Another fellowship year followed in laparoscopic gynaecology at the Royal Hospital for Women.

He went onto a three-year gynaecological oncology training program which involved Dr Chetty spending his first year at the Royal Hospital for Women and the subsequent two years at the Queensland Centre for Gynaecological Cancer, working at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Mater Adult Hospital.

Dr Chetty has a special interest in the management of gynaecological malignancies with the use of minimally invasive techniques where possible. He currently consults from Eve Health, and practises at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.
