Dr Michael Redmond completed his medical degree at The University of Queensland. He then undertook neurosurgical training at Mater and Princess Alexandra Hospitals, obtaining his FRACS.
Travelling overseas, Dr Redmond completed further training as a clinical fellow in neurosurgery at the Mayo Clinic and subsequently at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Upon his return to Australia, he worked as a visiting specialist at Mater and Princess Alexandra Hospitals where he currently practices in general adult surgery.
Dr Redmond’s special interests include skull base and pituitary surgery, trigeminal neuralgia and spinal surgery.
