Biography

Dr Robert Campbell trained in neurosurgery in Australia and New Zealand before undertaking further subspecialty training in paediatric and craniofacial neurosurgery at the Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool, United Kingdom. He has appointments as a consultant neurosurgeon at the Princess Alexandra, Mater Children’s, Mater Private and Greenslopes Private hospitals.

His special interests include image guided surgery for complex brain and pituitary tumours, craniofacial surgery, surgery for epilepsy and pain management, endoscopic surgical techniques for brain disease and neurosurgical disorders of childhood.

Dr Campbell and Dr Martin Wood established their group practice—Brisbane Clinical Neuroscience Centre in 2007. Their rooms are based at Mater Private Clinic, South Brisbane, with additional consultations conducted in the Bayside region, Caboolture and Bundaberg.
