Biography

Dr Glenn Gardener is the Director, Centre for Maternal Fetal Medicine at Mater Mothers’ Hospitals.

Working in this cutting edge environment, Dr Gardener’s special interests include fetal diagnosis and therapy.

Graduating from the University of Queensland with a medical degree in 1991, Dr Gardener was exposed to a range of practice areas before specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology through the Mater Mothers’ Hospitals and Gold Coast Hospitals. He then sub-specialised in Maternal Fetal Medicine with training at King George V in Sydney and University College Hospital in London before returning to the Mater in 2003 as a consultant in Maternal Fetal Medicine.

Drawing great satisfaction from working within a multidisciplinary team, Dr Gardener enjoys the challenge of balancing the odds and risks to achieve the best outcomes for mothers and babies with complex problems.
