Biography

Dr Mastry has recently returned to Mater Private Hospital Redland to join Dr Paul Truscott in a group practice providing comprehensive obstetric and gynaecology services to the Bayside community. He spent the last four years as teaching faculty in an obstetrics and gynaecology training program at Bayfront Medical Centre, St Petersburg, Florida and continued a busy private practice with his partners including Dr Matthew Macbeth.

Completing his obstetrics and gynaecology training in Tampa, Florida, Dr Mastry practiced in the St. Petersburg area before relocating to Australia in 1999. He spent 18 months in rural and remote communities of far north Queensland providing antenatal and gynaecological services based at Cairns Base Hospital as part of the far north Queensland Regional Obstetrics & Gynaecology Services (FROGS).

His special interest lies in gynaecological transvaginal ultrasound. Dr Mastry is a fellow of both the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
