Dr Simon Journeaux completed his primary medical degree at the University of London. After university, Dr Jouneaux went on to complete his orthopaedic training in Bristol and in Yorkshire in the United Kingdom.
He then moved to Brisbane where he underwent his fellowship training at Princess Alexandra Hospital, specialising in bone and cartilage transplantation under the supervision of Dr David Morgan. Upon completion of his training, Dr Journeaux then returned to the United Kingdom, where he held a consultant appointment in Liverpool prior to immigrating to Brisbane in 2003.
Dr Journeaux specialises in paediatric and adult trauma. He has elective interest in lower limb joint replacement of the hip and knee, including complex revision surgery.
