Biography

Dr Janet Warner graduated from The University of Sydney in with BSc (Med) in 1985 and MBBS (Hons) in 1986. She worked as a general practitioner for many years and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1998.

Deciding on a career change, she completed a PhD in the molecular genetics of Familial Hypercalcaemic Syndromes at The University of Queensland in 2006. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Pathologists in 2011 and is an Associate Lecturer at The University of Queensland.
