Dr Stuart Philip is a Urological Surgeon who chose to specialise in his field because of the “great mix of medicine and traditional surgery with modern techniques and equipment”.
Dr Philip completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in Otago, New Zealand before qualifying as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Urology) in 2006 and undertaking a Fellowship in Laparoscopic Renal Surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane in 2007.
He now consults privately from Mater Medical Centre, South Brisbane and works as a staff specialist at Mater Adult Hospital. Dr Philip’s special clinical interests include laparoscopy, minimally invasive renal surgery, uro-oncology and renal stone disease.
