Biography

Dr Peter Duffy completed his surgical training at Mater and Greenslopes Hospitals before undertaking vascular training in the United Kingdom. He has a passion for surgery of arteries and veins, repairing and revasularising organs and limbs.

He completed a research year at St Mary’s Hospital in London before returning to Australia as a vascular surgeon at Mater and Princess Alexandra Hospitals.

Dr Duffy is currently in full time private practice at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane and utilises new endovascular technologies for treating patients with arterial and venous disease. His areas of special interest include peripheral vascular disease, carotid disease, venous disease and varicose veins. He has recently commenced sessional work at Mater Private Hosptial Redland.
