Conference hailed “The best one yet!”

Mater Education delivered its greatest conference to date with 29 Mater clinicians delivering the latest evidence, important advances and current issues that are most relevant to improving patient outcomes and promoting the highest possible standard of care.

Over 130 delegates descended on the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort and Spa for interactive streams focused on advanced life support, skin cancer management, women’s health and acute and chronic illnesses within primary care.

Interactive case studies, role play, panel discussions, skin excision session, KEEpad devices and lectures were all used to share knowledge, inspire and inform GPs to enhance patient care outcomes.

“Another fantastic, practical talk. Perfect for what GPs need. Totally fascinating,” were some of the comments from delegates.

However it wasn’t all about the education, the steamy Queensland storms and subsequent venue change did not deter GPs from celebrating with their colleagues at the conference cocktail party and relishing the international cuisines and musical entertainment of Jasper.
