Mater is pleased to welcome Alison Broadbent as Director of Nursing, Medical/Chronic Disease Services.
Alison has a wealth of management experience across varied medical and chronic disease settings, most recently as the Nursing Director, Clinical Governance Toowoomba Hospital and Mental Health.
Her experience in working collaboratively to support improved clinical outcomes supports Mater’s aim to improve healthcare through the strategic integration of health, education and research—in alignment with our Exceptional Every Time strategy.
Alison holds a Masters of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing from University of Southern Queensland.
Her appointment finalises recruitment of the Medical/Chronic Disease Services clinical stream leadership triumvirate, with Dr Trisha O’Moore Sullivan (Clinical Stream Director) and Kirsty Dixon (Business Lead) recently appointed to their positions.
