Dr Cameron Curley is a Haematologist with clinical interests in the management of acute and chronic leukaemia, myeloma, lymphoma and autologous/allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Dr Cameron Curley graduated from the University of Queensland in 1999 and completed dual fellowships in Laboratory and Clinical Haematology at the Princess Alexandra and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals. He subsequently took up an appointment as a staff specialist in the Department of Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, providing outreach haematology services to Gladstone and Rockhampton.
Dr Curley has an ongoing keen interest in clinical research and is a co-investigator in a number of areas of leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. He has publications in the areas of acute leukaemia, transfusion medicine and allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
In addition, Dr Curley is a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland and continues to be involved in medical student and physician training. Dr Curley sits on the National Immunoglobulin Governance Advisory Committee (NIGAC) as a representative of the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand (HSANZ).
Dr Curley's private practice is at Mater Cancer Care Centre South Brisbane and Sprinfield and is available to receive patient referrals in the areas of diagnostic haematology, thrombosis/ haemostasis and malignant haematology.
