Dr Niara Oliveira completed her medical degree in 2003 and her specialist training in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology in 2008 in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
After a year working as a Staff Specialist at Hospital Santa Rita, Porto Alegre /Brazil, she moved to Brisbane to work as medical oncology research fellow at Mater Hospital Brisbane for 2 years.
Upon receiving Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2012. Dr Oliveira remained at Mater Hospital Brisbane as Staff Specialist.
Her main area of interest is GU Oncology and she is currently Principal Investigator or several phase 1 to 3 clinical trials in prostate, bladder and renal cancer.
She is also Senior Lecturer at School of Medicine / University of Queensland
