Biography

Dr David Ramsay is an Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Redlands, serving the Redlands and Bayside Brisbane region.

His area of specialty is in Hip and Knee surgery, especially replacement and reconstruction.

David completed his Medical Schooling and Orthopaedic training in Queensland, with subspecialty fellowships in Tasmania and Scotland in primary and revision Hip and Knee replacement, anterior approach hip replacement, and sports knee surgery. 

While David has a particular interest in hip and knee conditions he also provides general orthopaedic care including:

• Sports conditions of the lower limb such as ACL tears, meniscal tears, knee and ankle dislocations and fractures, and ankle ligmentous instability and tendonitis
• Surgical and non-surgical management of upper and lower limb fractures in both adults and children

Dr David Ramsay consults at the Indillie Clinic in Cleveland, and operates at Mater Private Hospital Redland.
