Urology: Prostate update: PSA and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

Information about this program:

Prostate cancer is the second-most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian men and is the second most common cause of cancer death in Australian men. The illness and disability caused by prostate cancer also has a big effect on the lives of Australian men and their families.  The purpose of this education session is to explain the guidelines and to provide clear, consistent, evidence-based guidance on PSA testing and the early management of test-detected prostate cancers.

This event will be held from 6.30 pm-7.30 pm online using the Teams platform.

Topics include:

  • PSA – Curly cases and the emergence of MRI
  • Contemporary BPH treatment
