New Cardiac CT service

Mater Medical Imaging is now providing a new cardiac CT service, as part of its outstanding Cardiac Imaging service.

The CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA) is an excellent test to rule out or confirm:

• Coronary anatomy
• Anomalous origins
• Coronary fistulas
• ASD
• Coronary Artery Disease

The test is an excellent rule out study for Coronary Artery Disease in patients considered low to medium risk in sinus rhythm.

Most CTCA examinations include calcium scoring at no extra cost for eligible patients, are non-invasive and use a low radiation dose.

The service has a minimal wait list with same day reporting.

Specialist physicians can refer directly for outpatient based CTCA.
