Do you care for patients with type 1 diabetes who need to develop a better understanding of managing their diabetes day to day?
DAFNE is a five day course in diabetes self-management education available to people with type 1 diabetes using multiple daily insulin injections. The course is offered through the Queensland Diabetes and Endocrine Centre (QDEC) at Mater.

Do you care for patients with type 1 diabetes and want to develop a better understanding of how to provide support?
The 1 Day DAFNE Awareness workshop is for health professionals and provides a brief overview of the DAFNE skills learnt by people with type 1 diabetes.
The workshop will increase health professionals understanding of the DAFNE principles that people with type 1 diabetes use day to day to adjust their insulin and dosing normal eating.
