New Medicare benefits Schedule (MBS) items for both video conference and telephone consultations will allow general practitioners, specialists (including obstetricians and midwives), nurses ande mental health professionals to deliver services vie teleheath.
MBS items an only be claimed when a service is bulk-billed, and do not allow for private health insurance benefit.
