World Class Cardiac MR Imaging for Mater patients

Upgrade underway to Mater Private Hospital Brisbane operating theatres

Stage one works commenced on Wednesday 19 August, to upgrade and refurbish the theatre complex area including staff lounge area, staff amenities, fresh paint and floor coverings in some areas.

Mater’s gynaecological oncology team leads the way for improved outcomes for women

Having completed more than 290 robotic cases so far using laparoscopic and robotic surgery, the team aims to improve surgical outcomes by using advanced minimally invasive techniques, in addition to research collaborations and outreach clinics via telehealth for women living in North Queensland.
