ICU relocation
The ICU that was previously relocated on level 7 of Mater Hospital Brisbane has now moved to level 5 of the Salmon Building (former Mater Children’s Hospital building). The newly refurbished ICU consists of 16 beds including three Class 4 isolation rooms.
9 East Mater Private Hospital Brisbane
Ward 9 East at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane has been repurposed to become a short stay surgical ward. Ward 9 East was formerly the neurosurgical ward prior to the opening of Mater Centre for Neurosciences in the Salmon Building.
