It is the only private Queensland facility licensed to provide level 5 surgical and level 4 medical paediatric services under the Clinical Services Capability Framework and is supported by a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and on call emergency support team from Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital. The committed team of healthcare professionals are specifically trained and experienced in providing quality, compassionate care for our paediatric patients aged 0 through to 16 years. Designed for children and families
Mater Children's Private Brisbane provides a range of specialised services from the one convenient location. The former Mater Children’s Hospital building has recently undergone a complete transformation including a name change to Salmon Building, in memory of Mother Alban Salmon.
The majority of the patient care rooms are large single rooms and all include an ensuite and a day bed for a parent or carer to stay overnight. Each room has a telephone, television, security safe and mini-fridge. We also provide sibling (double) rooms, with the ensuite facility adjacent to the room.
