Biography

Dr Kaushik Kumar is a specialist General and Colorectal Surgeon consutling from the specialist suites at Mater Health Hub, Springfield Central (from November 2023) and has admitting rights at the Mater Private Hospital Springfield.

Dr Kumar obtained his Master of Surgery, M.S. at Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India where he worked as a consultant surgeon before moving to Australia. He has since advanced his skills and expertise working in regional and metropolitan hospitals in Queensland as a part of the general surgery training programme and was awarded his Fellowship of General Surgery (FRACS) from the Royal Australasian College of Surgery in 2020.
