New luxury options for Mater mums

Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane now provides extra special options for mums birthing at Mater including a luxury stay at Emporium Hotel South Bank.

As part of The Caring Continues program, Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane is excited to introduce Mater Moments at Emporium Hotel South Bank*.

This new package is one of three options available to mums who are ready to transition home sooner and provides elegant surroundings for those who want to bond with baby in style.

The Mater Moments at Emporium package includes:

  • two or three days at Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane
  • two nights at Emporium Hotel South Bank
  • three specially designed room-service meals per day for mum
  • luxury transfer from Mater to the Emporium
  • Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane nurse or midwife in the hotel 24/7
  • A health and wellbeing assessment for mother and baby from a Mater midwife.

Medical Director, Mothers Babies and Women’s Health Dr Mike Beckmann is excited for the new service to be available and provide privately insured* patients with more opportunity for special moments as a family.

“New parents have an opportunity to spend precious time with their baby in an elegant, stylish river view room with balcony, with the added comfort of knowing Mater is on hand should the need for additional support arise” said Dr Beckmann.

One of three packages can be chosen by mum post birth to best suit their needs and include Health and Wellbeing at Home, Helping Hand at Home and Mater Moments at Emporium Hotel South Bank.
