The new framework will provide effective and consistent clinical governance across Mater, allowing us to develop reliable and robust systems for risk assessment, reporting, incident management, accountability, monitoring and evaluation.
Our Wi-Fi Upgrade project is part of Mater’s ongoing digital transformation that will maximise our ability to deliver care and strengthen the employee, patient and consumer experience.
During this year’s accreditation survey in August and September, Mater’s services across the state will be assessed against the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards (second edition).
Congratulations to Associate Professor Jakob Begun who has been named the new Director of Mater’s Gastroenterology services. Dr Begun will be stepping into this role, as the previous Director, Dr Marianne Mortimore, departs after nearly eight years of service as Director and 14 years at Mater Hospital Brisbane to focus on private practice.
